Message from the Minister

Rev. Joyce E. Anderson:
The Rev. Joyce E. Anderson is the current Senior Minister at the New York Center of Truth where she has been serving since 2003.

She was ordained by the Universal Foundation for Better Living in Chicago, Illinois in 1987. This is Rev. Anderson’s first assignment as a Senior Minister in the UFBL.

"Rev. Joyce" (as she is affectionately known), is now a retired teacher from the New York Department of Education where she worked for the past twenty years. Before this she was a teacher in her native country of Trinidad and Tobago. She also served as Education Director in a "Headstart" Program.

Rev. Anderson describes herself as a perpetual Truth Student and an avid reader of Metaphysical literature. She is a graduate of Brooklyn College, where she holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and an Advanced Diploma in Supervision and Administration. She is currently a doctoral student with the University of Metaphysics.

Rev. Anderson is also a published author. Her book of poems entitled "The Faces of Love" captures the heart as she explores the many faces of love that she has experienced. Copies may be obtained from Author House.com or from the New York Center of Truth Book Store.

Rev. Merle Hypolite
Assistant to the Minister

Rev. Merle Hypolite:
The Reverend Merle Hypolite is a licensed teacher and ordained minister of the Universal Foundation for Better Living. She presently serves as Assistant to the Minister at the New York Center of Truth. Her background as a registered nurse makes her uniquely suited to be a prayer leader and head of the Pastoral Care Ministry. She is also involved with the Spice of Life Group that radiates Light, Love and Life throughout the entire congregation.
